Something is changing in the way the world drinks coffee — and Dubai is where it is happening first. For years, specialty coffee chased the same few virtues: a cleaner roast, a rarer origin, a better machine. Agasia asked a different question. What if coffee could be composed, layered and experienced the way a fine fragrance is — not merely tasted, but discovered?
That question is the foundation of Agasia — The Coffee Parfum House, and it sits at the heart of one of the most exciting coffee trends emerging today.
A new language for coffee

The most forward specialty roasters have started to treat coffee less like a commodity and more like a composition. Through careful cultivation, controlled fermentation and precise roasting, a single origin can be coaxed into revealing layers of fruit, florals, sweetness and depth that most people never realised were hiding inside the bean.
To describe those layers, Agasia borrows from the language of perfumery — top notes, heart and base — because aroma is one of the very first ways we experience both a coffee and a fragrance. It is a vocabulary built for nuance, and coffee this expressive finally deserves it.
Meet the pioneers
Established in Dubai, Agasia set out to pioneer this fragrance-led approach in the region: Colombian Gold coffee, grown in the high-altitude farms of Huila, and composed — as our house line puts it — like a fragrance, before the roast. Where others print an origin on a bag, Agasia builds an entire sensory experience around it.
Coffee should be experienced, not consumed.
It begins with fermentation
Long before the roast, the character of an Agasia coffee is shaped by our FruitAlchemy™ process — a slow, controlled anaerobic co-fermentation carried out over many hours. This is the quiet, patient craft that lets natural fruit character, sweetness and aromatic complexity develop within the bean itself, rather than being added after the fact. It is the difference between a coffee that merely tastes of coffee and one that unfolds.
Read your coffee like a perfume
Every Agasia expression is mapped like a fragrance pyramid. The top notes are the first aromatic impression — the bright fruit that greets you. The heart is the coffee's character and flavour as it opens up. The base notes are what lingers: the roasted depth, cocoa and warmth of the finish. Read together, they turn a simple cup into something you can follow from first scent to lasting impression.

Four expressions, one Colombian soul
The FruitAlchemy Collection translates this philosophy into four distinct characters. Vineyard Noir is deep and winey, all grape, red wine and cocoa. Berry Crème is soft and dessert-like, with strawberry, rose and white chocolate. Melon Reserve is bright and playful, echoing watermelon, jasmine and blonde woods. And Tropical Elixir is radiant and exotic, layered with passion fruit, golden honey and cocoa nibs. Four expressions, drawn from one Colombian origin.
Experience it for yourself
This is coffee as a moment of pause, a daily ritual and a sensory experience worth remembering. From the Colombian highlands to your cup, Agasia exists to turn coffee into an experience of aroma, flavour and ritual — and Dubai is where that story begins.
